    Ducted Air conditioning Perth

There are several different types of ducted air conditioning systems that are suitable for the Perth domestic air conditioning market. At times depending on who you talk with you will get a lot of different opinions on the type of ducted air conditioning system  you should buy e.g.  ducted evaporative cooling system, ducted reverse cycle air conditioning system, or a ducted heating system. They are all very worth while systems depending on your life style, location and budget.

Things to consider when purchasing a ducted air conditioning system in Perth.

At the time of purchasing your ducted air conditioning system there are several factors you need to consider.

    • Price of your ducted air conditioning system
    • Different manufactures of the air conditioning units offer different features and can be one area were the price can vary considerably
    • Running cost of your ducted air conditioning system
    • Quality of components used in your ducted air conditioning system e.g  materials Flexible ducting what type of material is it  made out of what thickness is the insulation as this is one area that can effect the performance of your system if cheaper quality materials are used.
    • Location of your home e.g lets say you live in the Perth hills, installing a ducted heating systems would be a costly way to heat your home as natural gas is not available in the Perth hills so you would have to run your ducted heating system on bottled gas. Another example would be if you lived in an outer suburb where scheme water is not available, installing a ducted evaporative cooling system would need some consideration as they use a reasonable amount of water.

The above points are things that may be over looked at time of purchase, that you should consider carefully when choosing your ducted air conditioning system in Perth. When your ducted air conditioning system is installed it will be very expensive to change system as a lot of the components used are different for each type of system

Over the coming weeks I will go through the basics on each type of ducted air conditioning system. I would appreciate any feed back or questions you would like answered regarding the different types.

  • Hi,

Thanks so much. I was searching for info to tell me whether using ducted air con is cheaper in winter or using fan heater to save cost on electricity bill. However your info is quite useful for my future reference when I build my own home.

Do you know if by using ducted air con in winter would be better than using fan heater?

    Thanks.

  • thanks for the comments if it is just a small fan heater that would be cheaper to run but with fan heater you are only heating 1 room with ducted you heat and cool many rooms sign up to rss lots more information will be post in the future
